Pacy striker Lewis spent his youth career at Hull City, before his release in the summer of 2013. He joined Boro in the Evo-Stik South, scoring 9 goals in 13 appearances under Rudy Funk. In November 2013 he was snapped up by Bradford City, making his pro debut in January 2014. After catching the eye in pre-season with some impressive performances, Lewis suffered an injury in July 2014 and struggled to get back to full fitness. He released by the Bantams in January 2015 and has joined Tadcaster Albion and Bridlington Town. He joined up with Boro again in pre-season ahead of the new campaign.

In October 2017, Lewis went out to NCEL Premier Division side Barton Town Old Boys on loan to get some games under his belt and get back to full fitness after an injury lay off.
