Boro travel up the Yorkshire Coast to play Marske United in County Cup action on Tuesday night.
The fixture is set to go ahead as normal unless authorities say otherwise. The Semi-Final fixture between Scarborough Athletic and Marske United is a repeat of last season's tense final, held at the Riverside Stadium, in which Boro won on penalties. Kick off is 7.45pm.
Boro will be without a number of players for the fixture with James Walshaw unavailable, Tom Allan is cup-tied whilst Josh Barrett remains doubtful. Chris Dawson and Isaac Assenso are long-term absentees. Meanwhile Harry Spratt has returned to York City. Boro have added last season's U19 Player of the Year, Nathan Parker to the ranks after training with the first team for several months. Nathan will be available subject to league ratification.
Carl Jarrett's Marske side go into the game on the back of three wins from the last four games in March. However, the fellow seasiders were less successful in February, picking up just two points from three games. A number of fixtures have fallen foul to the weather over recent weeks, however no inspection is expected for tomorrow's anticipated fixture.
The sides last crossed paths earlier in the season in FA Cup action, when Boro won the replay at Mount Pleasant after the sides were inseparable at the Flamingo Land Stadium. The winner of the fixture will play either York City or Thornaby in the final.
