Basford United Preview
Boro travel to promotion chasing Basford United on Saturday in a bid to upset their title run-in.
Nottinghamshire side Basford, sit in fourth at the time of writing, whereas on Saturday leaders South Shields host FC United of Manchester, who visit the Flamingo Land Stadium on Easter Saturday.
Boro will be checking the fitness of Chris Dawson, who is expected to come back into the squad after a troubling groin injury. Josh Barrett is also expected to return after his ankle injury was not as bad as initially feared. Isaac Assenso is expected to be out for the season after news of an operation being required on his ACL.
Meanwhile, loanees Harry Spratt and Tom Allan play their last games for Boro before returning to York before Boro’s next league fixture at home to Gainsborough. Both players will be cup-tied for the visit to Marske on Tuesday night.

From M1 J26 –A610 to Nottingham for 1.3 miles. Left at the 2nd roundabout by the Gateway Hotel onto Cinderhill Road. After ¼ mile right onto Bagnall Road. Take 4th left onto Greenwich Avenue and the ground is at the end of the road. This is the best route and the route via the A453 should be avoided if possible.
From the north - A60
Entering Nottingham via the A60, turn right onto the B6004 Oxclose Lane (signposted to Basford). After 2.2 miles, pass over the level crossing and continue onto David Lane.
After a quarter of a mile turn right onto Bagnall Road and a further quarter of a mile turn right into Greenwich Avenue, the entrance to the ground is straight ahead.
