Scarborough host Mickleover Sports on Saturday 14th December, in the final home fixture before Christmas for the seadogs. The game is pay on the gate.
Boro supporters have been served a festive treat, after the Atherton Collieries fixture was postponed due to their involvement in the FA Trophy. Mickleover however, were available to come to the seaside, with Boro on a good run of form going into the game after three successive wins in all competitions since the appointment of Darren Kelly as manager.
Derbyshire outfit, Mickleover, who have a number of veterans in their squad including Ricky Ravenhill, Lee Hughes, Pablo Mills and Greg Young will be hungry for some football after recent postponements have left them with just two games over the past four weeks. Recently, Mickleover beat Buxton 1-0 but also lost to Bamber Bridge 3-2. Mickleover beat Boro back in Derbyshire earlier in the season, with a bare squad tackling the "Sports" and losing 1-0 in the process to a Lee Hughes goal. Mickleover currently reside one place above Boro in the league table.
Boro will be assessing a couple of injuries prior to Saturday with Harry Coates nearing his return to the side, whereas Wayne Brooksby is also a doubt after missing Saturday's win at Gainsborough. Boro will have late fitness tests on a number of players before Saturday's game.
