Scarborough Athletic have signed experienced attacking midfielder Paul Walker on loan from Farsley Celtic for an initial month.

Walker is a long-term member of the Celts squad, since joining in 2015. Hehas previously worked with Boro boss, John Deacey at Farsley Celtic and Bradford Park Avenue.

Walker was a key player in the Farsley squad that achieved promotion last season from the NPL Premier Division. The 32-year-old is a hard worker and his endeavour will be appreciated by the supporters at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

He is no stranger to a number of Boro players, having played alongside Tommy Taylor, Tom Morgan, Pete Davidson, James Walshaw, Jordan Deacey, Chris Howarth to name but a few during his time at Farsley Celtic.

Scarborough Athletic would like to say thank you to Farsley for their co-operation in the process.

Welcome to Scarborough, Paul.
