McNaughton Seeks Game Time

Young forward Flynn McNaughton has opted to seek game time elsewhere in a bid to enhance his development.

Scarborough born and bred McNaughton has opted to move in order to increase his chances of minutes on the pitch during 2019/20, however his desire to return to play for hometown club is still on.

McNaughton signed for Boro in late 2018, after being released by York City following a long-term injury. After regaining fitness, Flynn made his way into the Boro squad towards the end of 2018/19 and made a number of appearances during pre-season, impressing in these games. However, in the opening three games of the league season, McNaughton has made just the one substitute appearance.

We wish Flynn all the best with his new club and hope to see him continue to develop and progress.
