Boro Reveal AltoDigital Partnership

Scarborough Athletic FC are delighted to announce a sponsorship partnership with technology experts, AltoDigital.

AltoDigital are the UK’s leading office technology partner and have increased their support of the club in a number of ways.

AltoDigital specialise in solving problems by integrating technology-based solutions and developing relationships with international brands such as Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Dell and Lexmark to name but a few. You can find out more around their expertise here.

Having supported Boro loyally, ever since donating a Square card payment device and showcasing a Ground Board at the Flamingo Land Stadium, AltoDigital have now increased their support to assist with the running of the club’s retail systems.

AltoDigital have worked closely with club officials to develop a stock management system linked in to the online store to monitor stock levels.

Boro’s general manager, Jack Fewster has worked closely with AltoDigital’s regional sales manager and Boro supporter, Del Gunton to deliver the project that will put the club in control of stock levels and sales for a number of years to come.

Fewster said: “For a couple of years we have been working to put together a cost-effective and functional stock management system having spoken to a number of stakeholders, .

"However we are now confident that the solution provided by AltoDigital will give us the control we have since lacked in a volunteer organisation, where time is precious.

"We are now able to monitor sales and stock levels that are also linked in to the new look club online store, which will help us to operate more efficiently, especially when stock is located at different locations”.

The new easy-to-use system has been produced by Yorkshire-based company TillPoint, utilising touch screen motions. This will hopefully allow the club to recruit more volunteers by installing a simple, yet modern system.

AltoDigital’s Regional Sales Manager, Del Gunton added: "It is a great opportunity to support the local club, as a company we support a lot of local businesses already.

"Maybe people don't know about us as much as we'd like, so this link up is win-win.

"You look at the new stand at the new stadium, you can only see them moving up and this is a great opportunity to start a long-term relationship with the club.

"This gives us the chance to launch what we do to a lot more people. As a business we supply office technology, the printers that people are using, the phones they use and the screens they are working on we have probably supplied, but people don't know that.

"We want a bit of a buzz around who we are and what we do, but at the same time we want to forge a good relationship with the club in what will hopefully be a promotion year."

Scarborough Athletic FC look forward to becoming one of a number of success stories, with a case study on the AltoDigital website.

You can now see the AltoDigital logo donned by the first team players on training tops and tracksuits for 2019/20.
