Boro to bid farewell to Bootham

Scarborough Athletic will travel down the A64 to face rivals York City on Saturday 20th July, 1pm kick off.

The fixture is expected to be the last opportunity the seadogs will have to play at Bootham Crescent before the Minstermen move to the outskirts of York in a new Community Stadium, due for opening in late 2019.

Boro last visited Bootham Crescent on Boxing Day 2005, losing 3-1, with a teenage Michael Coulson in the Scarborough FC squad and a younger Dave Merris on the York City bench, played in front of 4921 spectators. Boro won the previous season's fixture at Bootham Crescent 2-1, with late goals from Tony Hackworth and Chris Senior.

We will be looking to add the memories at Bootham Crescent with a victory for one last time.
