Boro Land Forward Bacon on Loan

Scarborough Athletic have brought in a second player on a month's loan in the space of two days, this time landing Alfreton Town forward Declan Bacon.

Bacon has made 10 appearances for Alfreton this season, scoring 3 goals. He signed for them in the summer having scored an impressive 45 goals at Bottesford Town in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division last season. As well as playing as a forward he can also be used as a winger.

Bacon will be available for selection in tomorrow's home game against Marine and is signed with Boro up to and including 1st January 2019, subject to FA ratification. We would like to thank Alfreton for their co-operation in getting the loan over the line at short notice.

Meanwhile, midfielder Leon Scott has today left the club by mutual consent. The club wishes Leon well for the future.
