Scarborough Athletic's Bailey Gooda picked up the club's Player of the Month award for August. The central defender was presented with a case of Bowland Brewery beer by manager Steve Kittrick prior to Tuesday night's game with North Ferriby United.
Thanks to the EVO-STIK League's unique partnership with the brewers and new official suppliers of cask beer, Gooda is the first Boro player to pick up the newly sponsored monthly award. Two Man of the Match performances at home to Matlock Town and Whitby Town, along with helping the team to a clean sheet on the opening day of the season away at Hednesford Town, meant Gooda was the obvious choice for August.
The club will put the vote out to fans during the remainder of the season, so look out for details on how to vote following our final game each month.
