Boro Hub Volunteers Meeting
The club will be holding a meeting at the Boro Hub this Friday between 5.30pm-7pm for volunteers wishing to get involved with the Boro Hub.
The Boro Hub will act as a multi-functional space for volunteers, supporters and club officials including acting as much needed club space, a shop and point of contact. The Hub will be operated by volunteers and will be open for as much or as little as volunteers are able to give up their valuable time.
In order to get the Hub operational, a number of supporters, businesses and local persons have given up their time and skilled labour to renovate the property to become a welcoming part of the community, based opposite Scarborough Market Hall on Market Way.
The club would like to thank the following; Dave Hunter, Gordon Toal and Steve Welbourne who have decorated the building, Steve Marsh who fitted the new carpet, CPH Property Services and Graham Young who have donated an office desk. Mr and Mrs Hepton who donated the office chair and Neil Daniel for providing a phone. The club would also like to thank Dominic Lerpiniere from A1 Security and Fire who installed the alarm free of charge, Orisec who supplied the alarm free of charge and Alan Bruce who has supported the club in the neighbourhood watch scheme. Co-ordinating all of this has been Jamie and Jane Daniel who have given up their time and labour to oversee a welcoming HUB for the community to use.
Special thanks is credited to Scarborough Borough Council who have provided use of the HUB at a preferrential rate.
The Boro Hub will be open for the first time on Saturday between 10am-1pm to sell standing season tickets to supporters. Details on season tickets can be found HERE
