Match day information

Unfortunately we have been made aware of further instances of unacceptable behaviour by supporters on the way to our matches.

The club would like to make supporters aware that some areas of the Borough are covered by a Public Spaces Protection Order and this applies to the Weaponness area.

See more information on the Public Spaces Protection Order

Within these areas it is an offence to:

  • Fail to cease to consume and/or surrender alcohol when requested to do so by a constable or authorised person
  • Fail to cease to consume and/or surrender psychoactive substances when requested to do so by a constable or authorised person
  • Urinate or defecate in a public place
Scarborough Athletic FC supports the implementation of this PSPO and will ban any individuals found to be in breach of it in any way.

We ask supporters to adhere to our good neighbour policy by respecting local residents and their property. These incidents are detracting from our great start to the season and bringing disrepute on the club. We should all be working together to give Scarborough a football club to be proud of and ask for your assistance in this matter.
