New Club appointments

Scarborough Athletic are pleased to announce the following club appointments.

With a new season back in Scarborough now in full swing, behind the scenes work has been ongoing ever since last season ended to prepare for the season ahead.

After stepping in as Secretary to help guide the club through to the end of last season, Sally Elwick has decided not to continue the role in 2017/18.

Chairman Trevor Bull said: “Sally stepped in during a really difficult period to take on the role of Club Secretary again. I cannot thank her enough for the hard work she put in to keep us going, and to help bring me up to speed with the workings of the club in such a short space of time.”

We are pleased to announce that supporter and local referee Jack Fewster has taken on the role for the new season. Jack can be contacted by email on [email protected].

The matchday secretary has been filled by Rachel Hunter. Rachel will be the main contact for opposition clubs at away games, carrying out duties before, during and after games to make sure the club meets all of the league requirements!

This season has also seen the creation of a Junior Committee, with current manager of one of the Under-14s teams Paul Exley stepping up to become the new Junior Secretary. Paul has hit the ground running, registering 135 players in just 3 weeks across the 10 sides now under the Scarborough Athletic FC banner, as well as preparing his side for the new season.

Zoe Kendall has become the new Treasurer of the junior section, and will sit on the new junior committee alongside the Head of Youth Development Nigel Carson.
