Scarborough Leisure Village Open Day - Scarborough Leisure Village, 5 Ashburn Road, YO11 2JW

British Olympian and former world record holder for the 110m hurdles Colin Jackson will be helping to officially open the brand new Scarborough Leisure Village at a ribbon cutting ceremony alongside Scarborough Borough Council leader Cllr Derek Bastiman and Cllr Martin Smith on Saturday 10 June.

The open day will be a great opportunity for local people to try out the centre's facilities for free. There'll be lots of activities taking place for everyone to enjoy, both in the centre and out on the football pitch.

The Boro junior sides will be in action throughout the day taking part in exhibition games on the new 3G surface.

Visitors will also be able to take on Colin in a 'Beat the Olympian' fitness challenge, as well as join in a group circuits class, which will be led by the athlete.

There will also be masses of activities available throughout the day from 10am to 5pm.
